What we collect

Account details (email, handle, profile), content you enter, and the votes and battle results that make competition work. If you connect external accounts, we store the minimum needed to verify ownership and import the content you choose.

Analytics, privacy-conscious by design

We measure how the product is used with first-party analytics only. Our growth attribution links a share to a later visit using a first-party, hashed session identifier stored in a cookie. We do not use cross-site tracking, device fingerprinting, advertising identifiers, or third-party ad networks. Raw growth events are retained for a limited window and then reduced to aggregates.

What we never do

We never sell your personal data. We never place personal data in shareable URLs. Anonymous votes are tied to a rotating token for fairness, not to your identity.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, manage notification preferences, disconnect external accounts, and request account deletion. Deleting your account removes your profile and disassociates your competitive records where feasible.

Security

Access to your data is controlled by row-level security at the database. Connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest.
